"Costa Coffee"- a very warm welcome to Avda. Diagonal
Hello to COFFEE ADDICTS! I have already mentioned "Costa Coffee" on my Instagram account not so long ago. Now it's time for a blogpost!
What is "Costa Coffee"? For those who don't know it's a coffee chian founded back in 1971 on a rainy and grey day in London. Since then the chain has been expanding all over the world. Due to a famous Spanish culture of coffee and presence of Starbucks as an international chain in the market, "Costa Coffee" was being careful when entering into the market.
I know this wonderful chain from Moscow, Russia. It's very popular back home and has always been amazing me with it's simplicity and in the same time variety.
I like "Costa Coffee" for its design since you can find curious & inspiring quotes hanging on the walls. Apart from that, speaking about "Costa Coffee" on Diagonal (the new venue in Bcn opened a couple of months ago) I can't ignore its size- the spot is huge (huge for a coffee place!) therefore everyone can find a place where he won't be disturbed.
If u are living in Bcn u might be aware that sometimes it can be kind of challenging to find a place where you can order coffee Latte (not coffee with milk (leche)) ! Here you have a great variety of tastes (vanilla, hazelnut, chocolate, caramel, ginger etc) as well as sizes (be ready to order a medium-sized cup and recieve a huge one! :))
MY CHOICE: Latte with hazelnut
FOOD: Coffee, tea, cold summer beverages, juice, various snacks with nuts, fruits, gluten-free options etc
AMBIENCE: Simple and spacious
FOR WHO: Students, friends, enterpreneurs or people looking for inspiration and willing to focus on their things while working , tourists (due to the location)
PRICE: $$$
RECOMMENDED: YES ! A good substitute of Starbucks :))
