New pizza spot "Vicino" on Barceloneta
Today , as on any sunny Sunday , we decided to spend our day on the beach. Since recently I've been spending a lot of time in "Makamaka" , this time me and my friends went for a new italian restaurant called " Vicino- Pizza Bar".
There are several good points about this place. First of all , it's one of the first autentic pizza places located on busy Passeig de Joan de Borbo. So if you are tired of typical "paella" kinf of places or burgers- this is a good chance for you to try out something new.
Secodly, what grabs your attention in the first place is the fact that everyone working in "Vicino" is italian: pizza-creators , chefs, bartenders and all the staff in general comes from Italy. Personally for me it stands for one thing- QUALITY. I am getting some REAL ITALIAN experience & taste when I come to "Vicino".
All in all, "Vicino" mainly specializes in pizzas and italian starters ( such as burrata or eggplants stuffed with meat ,tomato and cheese) but also serves pasta and of course DELICIOUS tiramisu and panacota (I tend to believe those are homemade )
I recommend a terrace in case you are lucky enough to be there on a sunny day!
