"Bar Strelka" with splendid views on Moscow river
"Bar Strelka" is a place to be in case you are looking for 3 things:
1) Great views
2) Good food
3) Busy but chilled atmosphere (yes ! it is possible :))
If you are in Moscow, I highly recommend to pay a visit to this wonderful modern spot. "Bar Strelka" is located on a so-to-say "island" with many more restaurants, bars and clubs so popular among Moscow inhabitants. All the bars are located on the territory of "Krasny Oktyabr Chocolate Factory and Museum".
"Bar Strelka" can be divided into 2 parts: a spacious in-door area located on the first floor and a big terrace on the second floor that offers its visitors absolutely stunning views on the Moscow river and Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
Don't hesitate to ask for a table on the terrace, you won't regret but it's highly recommended to reserve a place in adavance, especially for Friday- Sunday since the probability of getting a table with no reservation right away is close to 0 on those days :)
"Bar Strelka" is extremely popular among foreigners therefore hearing German, English, Spanish or French is much more common than hearing native Russian.
The range of dishes to choose from the menu is very wide, to give you a hint me and my friend to some hummus to share as well as focaccia with tomato and basil. In case you are looking for a juicy steak- don't worry, it can be also found in Bar Strelka".
