Beach, sea, cool people & great burgers in "Makamaka" , Barcelona
What do you like more? Sea , sun & beach ... or would you rather give that all up and go for a burger ? I mean there is no need to make such a sacrifice since in "Makamaka" you can easily combine both!
What is "Makamaka" ? It's a unique beach burger cafe located right between Barceloneta beach & Port Vela. Every time I go to "Makamaka" I find myself in a "hipster" community of Barcelona mixed with surfers coming after catching their wave, fanatic tourists & loud spaniadrs. Why would this place be attractive to so many different people? I'd say : it's all about design & food that together create a one of a kind chilled atmosphere that reminds me of a typical beach cafe on the beaches of California.
"Makamaka" is famous for its BURGERS & cocktails mostly. Its menu is never static since new dishes are added depending on the season and customer recommendations.
A place to be on a sunday ....morning, during the day or in the evening. Time flies in "Makamaka" , the only thing that never flies anywhere is people queueing next to the spot all the time, I mean, if you have to wait, trust me- you won't regret;)
MY CHOCIE: Burgers ( I go to "Makmaka" only to try them all) & mojitos are really good ;) AND their fries!!! are A MUST!
