Food market "Mercado de San Ildefonso "
One of the best weekend plans is definitely visiting a food market open non-stop! One the coolest food markets in Madrid is Mercado de San Ildefonso located in famous Chueca area. This market occupies the entire 4-floor building and offers its visitors a great variety of food to choose from: beginning with simple bocadillos and finishing wish beef tartar or seafood plates. The good thing about this market is the variety you are given , when you go there don't hesitate to try 2 or 3 dishes from different stands. The negative point, though , is that the market is always extremely crowded, it's not even about waiting in a line, it's more about finding a place to sit . Let's say there is an unspoken rule: first seen-first taken :) What is also worth mentioning is the design of the market- it's really cool! There are some terraces as well if you want to enjoy your meal outside:) MY CHOICE: Beef tartar & roasted Cesar sandwich FOOD: For any taste! AMBIENCE: Modern FOR WHO: Food lovers PRICE: $$ RECOMMENDED: YES!
LOCATION: Calle Fuencarral, 57, 28080 Madrid
