Last Saturday I visited the first Street food market in Madrid- a place to be for those who love food & nature since what you will be doing all they day is eating in the open air:) This market is going to take place in the same location every 3 week of a month, therefore don't worry - you have plenty of time to enjoy on of your weekends there;) This Street food market had loads of culinary offerings ( even some Michelin-starred chefs! ) I even had a chance to see one American cooking TV show being filmed meanwhile eating my delish burger from "El Kiosko" truck that coincidentally had the biggest queue in the entire market:) This market is a perfect spot for everyone since you can find anything there: starting from Galician empanadas, croquettes meatloaf, tacos, cookies, barbecue, , author burgers and finishing with a great coffee to go . It's a perfect place to spend time with friends and socialize on one of the tables (if you are lucky enough to get one;)) or simply on the grass ( this is exactly what I did and the only distraction was a very annoying bee ). All in all, I personally LOVE the concept of a street food market. It's simple, cool and for me it's just a perfect way to spend a beautiful weekend outdoors with friends. MY CHOICE: "El Kiosko" burger, chips with cheese sauce FOOD: I don't know if it's even worth saying anything here;)) AMBIENCE: Outdoors, "food trucks" concept FOR WHO: Friends, couples, families ! PRICE: $$ /$$+ depends on the truck:) RECOMMENDED: FOR SURE!!!
LOCATION: Jardín Botánico de la Universidad Complutense, Avda. Complutense, 12, Madrid
