Non-traditional tapas in "Bubo Bar"
We all know what tapas are and when we hear this word, we imagine traditionally served "patatas bravas" , "pimientos de padrón" or "huevos revueltos". The point is that not so long ago (well, in spring) I found an amazing tapas place in the heart of El Born called "Bubo Bar". The restaurant offers a wide selection of tapas, served in a very original way and with a non-traditional flavor. I highly recommend this place to all tapas lovers as well as people who never got what's so special about these dishes. Now you have a reason to change your mind cause tapas can be great! :) MY CHOICE: Patatas bravas, Pan con tomate (served in a VERY untraditional way), Crouqetas de queso y coco (chesse & coconut) FOOD: GREAT! Not so big portions though (even for tapas) AMBIENCE: I ate outside on the terrace; and since it's right in the heart of El Born it is going to be loud and crowded:) FOR WHO: Friends, couples PRICE: $$ RECOMMENDED: For tapas lovers
