Getting lost in secret "Thai Gardens"
One of the best places in Barcelona for experiencing Thai food is without any doubts "Thai Gardens" . The restaurant has a very central location, just a few minutes away from Passeig de Gracia. Once you enter, you feel as if you are somewhere very far from Spain. Everything: the music, the plants around you, the decoration helps to get a full Thai experience together with the food served. The restaurant is kind of divided into 2 parts: the sitting area with chairs and tables that we are all so used to and the are downstairs where you would have to sit almost on the floor and there would be just some pillows that kind of work as sofas. In order to get real Thai experience, I recommend the area downstairs, even though it may not be comfortable for everyone, especially for girls coming in high heels:) The place is always full, so I highly recomment to make a reservation before the arrival ( even though it's very big!) MY CHOICE: Spring rolls (I always take them), curry chicken with rice ( you can always ask for an additional portion of souce or ask it to be more/less spicy) FOOD: Asian AMBIENCE: Very relaxing atmosphere, this is a kind of a place where you can be sitting for hours FOR WHO: Families, couples, friends. Celebrations PRICE: $$+ RECOMMENDED: YES!
